punk it up...

hey guys, hope everybody has enjoyed the easter weekend and your not too sad that its back to routine tomorrow!! I am SO happy my life will return to normal as of  6.30 am ish!! as some will know I do not have a ordinary job however I do have a little girl aged 2and 5months and a baby boy aged 6and half months (Ruby and Charlie peanut) And this is bloody hard work!! (but with a million benefits!!) Over the last four days the Mr has been off work so of course our routine has flew out the window!! Its all been good fun though!


Enough of the babble...Im guna try something new here and do a 'trend' post. this week Im sharing some awesome PUNK looks! This is one of my faves. Although I don't fit into any category (punk, hippie, sporty) I do like to steal ideas that tickle my fashion fancy!

patch leggings. diy...

hey again! a while back my beautiful sister in-law had the genius idea to make her own knee patch leggings (see hers here)...and today I did my very own! 
Its such a cool idea to transform normal black leggings into a funky part of any outfit. The sis chose to do Black velvet heart patches witch look soo cool and I decided on felt daisy patches! 
                             enjoy...

you will need.

*leggings

*scrap material ( I am using felt)

*card for a template

*thread ( I am using yellow)

*needle

*scissors

First use the template to cut out the desired shape

on the fabric your using

*Then try on your leggings and measure up where you want your patch to sit.

I pinned my patch whilst I had the leggings on

(BE CAREFUL YOU DONT PIN YOUR LEG!)

*Take off the legging and sew on your patch using the needle and thread

*Reapeat for other leg.

Here are my FAB knee patch leggings!!

and I LOVE them!

you could try different shapes like hearts, stars or crosses

and obviously you can use any fabric!

This is so easy if you are handy with a needle! it took me about 25 minutes to complete!

I think I might try floral or leather hearts next.

hey guys, happy Easter to everyone!  hope your all enjoying the long weekend, last night me and the Mr went for an Indian and a few drinks and today I've had a lazy day with the kiddies at the in laws,  eating a roast lamb dinner and a silly amount of yummy chocolate... resulting in me now feeling pretty gross!!

Toes...

Hi again!  I thought I'd do a quick post on my nail varnish that I've just applied 
I don't wear nail varnish on my fingernails because I am a nail biter ( I no, I no... this is not cool!) 
but I do regularly paint my toe nails...

Excuse the toe picture.
This nail varnish is Black with Gold specs. Believe it or not I actually got this FREE from the fashion site missguided! The last time I ordered anything from there was over a year ago so I've had this one a while, I use it all the time and it has lasted really well! No gloopines at all! Also the pot is quite cool with  a Gold peace sign!! only down side is that it is hard to remove! 


Black is deffo my winter shade, does anyone have a nice summery colour?

 Hi guys. I really like to dress my self in jewellery although I don't tend to buy it often! I don't really shop on the highstreet for my jewellery I usually find treasures in little hippy-esk or online shops and if I find something I like I wear the hell out of it! Here's a few snaps of the bits I wear pretty much everyday!

 Left ear - spike stud* silver&blue feather* cross earcuff

*small hoop            

  Right ear - silver tunnel(6mm)* small stud* cross earcuff.

bracelets - silver and black bangle* 'LOVE' beads and                

  silver/wooden bead both friendship strings* also includes 

  Casio watch, a few beaded ones and a few leather ones!! 

Left hand- peace symbol ring* Silver wedding band (over my husbands initials).

 Right hand- solid curved silver ring* silver and black ornate ring.

Hope you've enjoyed this insight into my jewellery collection!!
